Removed my Hard Rhino/Nitto Ridge Grappler 275/65R18's off Old Faithful and put my 265/75R16 Kalahari wheels and tires on it instead. Old Faithful looks like an LE now, I only wish I had that interior! Also removed the rear license plate lights and cleaned them 6 years later and they started to get a bit foggy. Took like 5min and I'll be good to go for another few years before I gotta touch em again!

I removed the ABS unit’s shuttle valve *switches to fix a botched Option B mod from the previous owner and found cracked wire insulation. The ground connection for the Option B was held on by a single wire strand due to corrosion.

Default Instrument cluster hood repair

Today I fix my instrument plastic good. Mine was was broken from previous owner. All the clips have been busted or screw ports busted. Did some plastic welding on the two plastic tabs on the windshield side and added extra long 6m screws and washers above the steering column. See pics below. Not too bad it's more secure the it was before. ..

Funny, but I just did the same hack to put my binnacle cover back on last night after fitting a mic for the new stereo.

About the stereo not turning on my amp, I had a long conversation with Crutchfield. Their two options were for the base stereo and the Harman Kardon touch screen system, but none of the other mid-line or high-line stereos offered. We're pretending that my rig's Alpine+Philips high-line system will connect like the Harman Kardon system, but I'm not hopeful. They're sending more adapters which should arrive next week.

That's one of the "next things" to do on my list as well. The PO did a bit of hatchet job by drilling holes in the lower section and using 4" long wood screws to hold it in place. Repair and fix is in order after I finish my engine work.

On the green disco replaced the radiator, water pump, front main seal and swapped in a "new" used crank pulley. Found old radiator was compromised which was the source of my overheating issues and the front seal solved seemingly 99% of my leaking. Overall pretty successful day.
