What did you do with your DII today?

Driving back from test driving another addition to the stable, and needed a sudden stop in highway traffic. Hit the brake and the pedal went to the floor - truck pulled to the side. Left lane, with a wall to the left and traffic buzzing by on the right, so nowhere to go. Luckily, I managed to pump the pedal enough to stop the truck in combination with the parking brake (glad to have a handle instead of an electric brake or pedal).
Overall I’m just happy that I didn’t hit anyone, but needed to have it towed to a shop for them to take a look on Monday. I suspect that the culprit is, unfortunately, a hard line, not one of the soft hoses. There was a nice puddle of brake fluid under the drivers side of the truck about a foot towards the center if you start a little behind the drivers front tire. Bummer.
Anyone have insight into the cost associated with replacement?

well we made it from Denver to VA in 2 days, disco did great aside from my 8k mile new Lucky8 front driveshaft giving up the ghost in KY. Pulled the shaft and locked the CDL and we were back on the road in no time. Should have known that price point was too good to be true. Will be calling them and then probably ordering a tom woods only I'll go through them directly or another site.

Yes. Greased it when I got it and when I changed the oil a few thousand miles after I installed it...didn't grease it before this trip as just didn't have time but it should not have died this soon. Not proud of it but my tom woods has gone 30k since being greased with zero issues. Didn't bring one of my spares either as I assumed it was probably the least likely part to fail on this trip lol
