I want a RRC but no space haha. If anyone wants to trade LOL. JK, I think my partner would be pretty sad as she's gotten really attached to the D2 after our recent moab trip.

My wife currently hates the classic bc multi colored lol. White disco was what I wheeled exclusively but the RTT on their now makes it far less fun to wheel so it’s much better suited and built out for camping/overlanding. The classic is already on 35s hd shafts and Detroit rear and TT front so the new wheels and figuring out exactly how I want it to finish up (basically flares or no) before I source panels and trim and paint. Interior is mint with no rust!

Actually it's been about a month but I sold it, the D2 has a new home,, it will probably be more pavement princess than wheeler like it was with me. Hopefully they will take care it. Replaced it with a very low mileage WJ, clayton long arm kit, rock sliders bumper etc. Been a long time since i owned a jeep, I will miss the D2

Ouch! That kinda hurts to see, but I hope the change treats you well. I actually like the WJs. I think they're underappreciated and I'd definitely own one.

New winter shoes for the Disco.
Picked up 5 wheels from Will Tillery that were structurally good but cosmetically challenged. Freshly powdercoating. New center caps from JLR classic. Nokian Outpost ATs in 245/75.
Hoping to have the truck put back together within a week. Far, far, FAR too many unfinished projects. Even the smallest stuff seems to take longer than expected on this truck. It's my first LR. I need to adjust accordingly.

Did Option B. Pulled the shuttle valve switches without removing the ABS unit and sheared one of the hex bolts. Another came out with some aluminum packing in the threads. With how old these trucks are, I'd recommend pulling the whole unit and soak them with PB to avoid repeating what I did. Three amigos are gone for now though, which is a win.

Default Mass Air Flow Sensor

So excited today. As a newbie to repairing my own Disco 2, today I ordered a new Bosch MAS. It took me two weeks of research, ordering and receiving a Bosch MAS earlier only to find out it had been tampered with so returned. Now I await the new part. Any clues on how to remove the adapter from the sensor. Mine is the original and now, after 20 yrs seems sealed to the sensor. I do not want to break anything.

This may not seem like something to get excited about, however I am a 70 yr female who finally bought her all time favourite vehicle. First saw one in 1973 and have wanted one since. Wish me luck!

Spray liberally with silicone spray lubricant and things should come apart more easily.
