204 is still a bit high, but sitting will definitely raise that number. Have you tried the 180 thermostat yet? I did it, and I run 185-195 almost all the time, hot or cold weather. To me, it was a good $40 spent for peace of mind.

today, realized that I have some rubbing issues, after recent suspension changes. really don't want to cut and re-flare, but I guess it is a must

Are you at 0" lift? You shouldn't rub with 32s and a 2" lift.

It's in the plans, I'd love to run below 200F. I am rebuilding another motor to swap in and plan to start fresh with a new radiator and 180*F Thermostat.
The previous owner ran a combination of Dexcool and leaks. I found all kinds yellow gunk around the engine not to mention whatever may have built up in the radiator.
Thanks,
Garrett

Absolutely, if they weren't there your wheels would be tucking more.

Camel cut is a different beast all together, that's on D1s when the specially fabbed the fender arches and cut the rear quarter up at a flat angle. You can get flexi flare wheel arches if that's what you mean, I'm not a huge fan but here you go - Lucky8 Llc. - Take the road less traveled...
