I did you seal the headlights? I tried with silicon but that didn't last long. I probably need to put them into the oven, rip the lens off and seal them with new headlight seal properly.

I haven't disassembled them that far but I'm planning to do a retrofit sometime this year. I just meant I need to seal the plastic lenses because I polished them and they'll turn yellow if I don't finish them with a UV stable spray.

If you took yours apart, I'd recommend some butyl to keep it from leaking.

pull them apart and redo the seal. Theretrofit source sells the gasket material as you might as well do an HID projector retrofit if you're pulling them apart imo.

Did you put them into the oven for that? I am very afraid of that.

You don't have to oven it but that makes it much easier to separate. Heat gun and gloves works as well if you're patient

Broke my rear wiper arm several months ago when upgrading my tire carrier so today I replaced it with the super cheap ebay rear arm/wiper combo DKC100890 and it seems to work! Pro tip: re-use your original wiper hose and spray nozzle.

The rain finally stopped long enough for me to be able to finish cleaning the water pump gasket surface. Reassembly and in-line thermostat soon:

yes. but only for like 5 min. Just enough to loosen it up. Not long enough to melt anything important.
