Cooling system was working fine before, but I have to drive through desert and got really tired of having to slow down so much up hills to keep temps in check.
I did the same, plus the heavy (not severe) duty fan clutch and noticed the same results. Much cooler and it never gets over 186°

I am wtrying to fix all my rattles, the rear sunroof was lose, tighten that up. It appears that the privot at the front of the sun roof is broken. I cannot seem to find anything with that part number. Does anyone have a suggestion on sourcing a replacement? Or, is the entire frame that needs replacing? Looks lioke #5 is the part.

There should be a part number stamped on it

Planning to get rid of the ignition barrel this weekend and switch to push start, so I made a ghetto little key fob. Blade fits inside. magnetic and (hopefully) waterproof. Did a terrible job with the silicone but oh well

My daily driver '04 had started to have some brake squeal, so my son and I changed out all four corners with some new ceramic brake pads. I've always run semi-metallic and was caught off guard by the initial pedal feel on my test drive. After a little internet reading I found an excuse to go on a grocery run and bedded in the brakes. Pedal feel is back to normal.

While I had the Rover in the driveway I did Extinct's Inline thermostat mod. Figured since I'll be doing some highway towing in early May and later this summer no better time than now. This is the second Discovery I've installed this mod on and I appreciate the peace of mind.

I’ve always wanted this for my Disco….
Received a free charged 2kg fire extinguisher from a local fire safety company just for asking if they had any extras in their work truck.
Score!

You rarely need a fire extinguisher, but if you need one you’ll be very happy to have one handy.

Finally got my new alternator in -it as been in the garage for 5 months waiting on a warm dry day. And swapped thermostats in my inline housing, the disco ran a bit hot on up hills and I suspected the thermostat cycled slow. The new one is much better.

Nothing physically but placed the order for the Voyager roof rack and Tuff Stuff roof top tent and awning! Excited to get some things moving!
