Out for a drive yesterday up to Nlata Lake, lake is no longer accessible last bridge is gone, and had an interesting experience. Around 10 am I saw this heli moving along the power lines.

At 4:30 heading home a white pickup pulled up beside me, he was one of the fellows in the heli, and air-dropped me this video.
The world is a weird place sometimes.

As one Facebook fellow posted never happen to a jeep guy

Your statement "Scanner says LH circuit open or something like that" is not precise and not helpful. If you'd like help please post the full, exact language of the fault being reported. One of the possible SRS faults is "Open circuit fault in LH pretensioner circuit", for example.

For better or for worse, I have more than a little experience diagnosing and addressing SRS faults. Diagnosing remedies SRS faults can be tedious, even if you have the fault description.

And by the way, please start a new thread when you report back with the actual fault description instead of letting the discussion get buried in this thread.
Hello and thanks for the reply, but the SRS error cleared itself up. I went to pick it u from the glass shop, jumped in, buckled the sealbelt and started the truck. SRS popped up for a second and then when away. Must have been a loose or dirty connection somewhere that resolved by usage. Fingers crossed it stays away.

Default Cleans up good 👍🏻👍🏻

My business has been changing a lot in the last several months, and in a way that will find me doing a lot more interstate driving.

I’ve only got space for one car so Ive been planning on selling the Disco to go to another car I’ve always wanted to own, a L322 Range Rover (06-09 full size). They’re a little more suited for my needs right now (comfy cruiser, a little more power, little better hwy MPG’s, and I’ve always loved them).

Getting some pro photography done of the Disco was super cool. These are my iPhone shots since I couldn’t upload the high res shots here, but man, there’s nothing like a D2

2003
133k miles
AB top hat 4.6 motor
Exterior is 8/10
interior 7.5/10

Listed it for $13.5k with @ridgerovers on Instragram, but I would sell for less to a forum member. Message me if you’re interested and I can share a Google drive with 100 pictures and videos, and my service records 👍🏻🤙🏻

Many WSS faults are caused by faulty connectors that can be removed and the wires spliced together.
Codes read back as faulty wiring on SVS - repaired at the local independent Land Rover shop at a reasonable price - adios 3 amigos!

Finally!! My main goal for my new-to-me discovery was get it on the road and start fixing things as they come up. Its main purpose will be going from NJ to OBX on the sand beach with kids and husband and dogs. So it has to be "reliable" (hehehe).

Some of my hiccups were a misfire and window regulators.

I did the relocation of coils, as I had a #4 misfire, a broken wire at 4 and also a nonfouler someone put on #4. So new plugs, wires, coils. I don't like the kit I got, it's the one that goes to the center top of intake. It might just be the hose in the way was replaced by the worlds thickest hose and I just need to get a different one, but the coil doesn't fit as is.

But the good news is, 25 mile test drive and no misfire, no amigos, just srs light (driver bag and passenger seat belt codes).

The tires on it are 5 different brands ranging from 2015 to 2017. I moved the worst one to spare and am hoping these last til I get the big "fun" tires!

But before I go and spend that kind of money I want to drive it and fix things as they go.

Adding third row has been fun. It's ongoing and as I find parts I need to complete it, I'm finding them on eBay and installing so the rear is a mess of no trim

it has a noticable lean to the passenger side so shocks are in order. I'm not going to lift it. I lift and lower customer vehicles and other than looks, I just don't think it's for me. I'm in NJ, there's nowhere in this state not paved haha.

What I did “today” (past year). Bumpers, rock sliders, winch, roof rack, lights, OEM skid plates, dog guard, cargo area bucket liner, rubber mats, matching ignition/door keys, rear step/ladder, HD fan/clutch, inline tstat, Tom Woods front propshaft, replaced PS pump, wired aux lights to a D1 three switch panel to replace ash tray, and I’m sure I’m forgetting a few things, and a few things to go.

Fought w my O2 sensor for a while today. No progress.
I received the Alpaca leather dye from Extinct today. I have used lots of Leatherique products in the past, all with great results. The real value here is that the color match is perfect. I had some heavy wear on the passenger seat and the back seat somehow got a yellow stain on it. The dye blends beautifully, is super easy to apply. Tape off the piping and I used a chip brush to apply and blend it in. A couple coats and good as new, and you cannot see where the painted meets the original surface. In other cars, that line of demarkation has been pretty visible, somehow this color match is exact. Once it has some time to cure, I am going to use the other Latherique conditioner to soften it all up again.

I had to make them redo it to get it perfect, glad it worked good for you.

Pulled the headliner yesterday, to fix the sunroof drains -- or so I thought. Turns out that both of the frames had zero sealant between them and the body. Lifted clean out. Sunroof drains are immaculate, but I reinforced and added sealant anyway. Now to see what happens when it rains.
