I've always been a huge fan of the Baja Designs Squadron R lights. I have four on my Colorado and will be putting them in my front bumper when I install it.

Finally installed my Alisport radiator and changed my tcase fluid. Going to do my trans and filter fluid next but need to figure out why my fan shroud isn't sitting right can causing some weird temps at low speeds. Might just be air in the system still but will keep bleeding to see if I can get anymore air out.

Tried to program a remote with my HawkEye. Used the Excel sheet to convert the code on the sticker inside the plip to the longer codes. All looks good. Push the button and... immobilised!
Grrr. Now I have to resolve that situation before I can try programming the fob again.

Rover Rondezvous this weekend. I took mostly dash cam footage. This pick was the air up at the end of the exit trail. I had a good time. Since I didnt have a camp site, and was staying in a hotel I spent most of my time soloing back roads and spurs looking for camp sights.
In serendipitous event, unrelated to RR, I saw a some deer accross from a camp and stopped to a fellow there (no bucks but still nice to sit and watch). It was non other than @YETIX

Loaded up and dropped off the Disco at Low Price Auto Glass for a new windshield and installation of my new-to-me alpine windows. Trying to get it ready for the Hill Country Rover Rally in Spicewood, TX the weekend of October 13th. Who knew you could just roll these back over after they are on their side and just drive away! I managed to repair and clear all the warning dash lights with the exception of an SRS light. Scanner says LH circuit open or something like that. I thought SRS was the air bags. Anyone know where I should start looking? Thanks!

Yes, SRS is the supplemental restraint system, which is the airbags and the seatbelt pretensioners.

Your statement "Scanner says LH circuit open or something like that" is not precise and not helpful. If you'd like help please post the full, exact language of the fault being reported. One of the possible SRS faults is "Open circuit fault in LH pretensioner circuit", for example.

For better or for worse, I have more than a little experience diagnosing and addressing SRS faults. Diagnosing remedies SRS faults can be tedious, even if you have the fault description.

And by the way, please start a new thread when you report back with the actual fault description instead of letting the discussion get buried in this thread.

After driving a short distance, MIL returned, misfire in #4. This one is the only one with a non fouler in it, also the only one with an autolite plug. The wire going to it has a cracked boot and the metal plug flops around.

Going to compression test and leak down and see if there's a reason for this mess on #4.

Is there a reason you are not going to replace the wire and plug?

Yes, of course. A new set of wires and plugs are on the way.

I want to see if there's a reason for this odd plug. I'm hoping the wire has been coming apart inside for a while, causing inconsistent firing/fouling and they just ignored the check engine haha.

Wish me luck. Too many customer cars here so mines on backburner for now.
