Finally got converters welded back into the exhaust of the wife's red Rover.
Broke ground for a garage this evening, so hopefully we'll be able to start making progress on some projects again. Only have about... 8-10 project vehicles needing major drivetrain, major body work, or both. On top of the regular fleet of daily maintenance of course.
Tried to add a couple photos, but the system wasn't having it.
got rovers moved to VA a few weeks ago and a new (to me) 4.6 motor on a stand to rip down and get prepped to drop into the wife's green disco. Sea level or even VA mtns make these things suck far less vs the CO elevations, knew it would make a difference but how much is staggering.
CO mountains are something else, coming from Vancouver BC I'm pretty used to mountain passes and I know the 4.6 struggles but I drove through the rockies on my way through Denver and i could not carry any speed in the mountains. I was being overtaken by semis, so I just gave up and let the truck cruise at probably barely 30mph. Very pretty drive though
I replaced the headliner on Saturday. Well technically didn’t replace I did the paint trick and I’m happy with it. I’ll add a photo.
But now the sad part of owning a disco. I drove it around today and was thinking “wow it’s been so long since the cel went on”.
and guess what popped on the dash?
I don’t know if I should be laughing or crying or selling the car.
So now I’m looking up all the ways to fix the codes.
