I would love to get the mpg back but at $ 129 each for 4 O2 sensors on a DI AEL equipped vehicle, I can pay for a truck load of extra gas..........not to mention that at today's prices, a set of O2 sensors almost doubles the value of the vehicle! Bosch offers both the "plug and play" and the ones you have to wire. The plug and play I got from Advanced Auto were the $75per ones.

Very nice pricing. I hope you didn't get one of the bad ones like i did because it will not be as easy to return if the shop isn't down the street.

There is a HUGE price difference between the DII and DI O2's.

Yah, I hope I don't get a bad one. I will keep my old ones around just in case.

So did you fix the rough running or just throwing parts at the problem?

I bet the intake is sucking oil and causing issues.

I am waiting for the parts to come. I could not find them locally. Where would the intake be sucking oil from? I have new valve stem seals, every gasket, seal and o-ring is new on the engine exept for the rear main seal. The spark plugs are dry. I am getting 10 codes. I have them listed here https://landroverforums.com/forum/sh...ad.php?t=29913

The new Bosch oxygen sensors from autopartswarehouse.com work good. They were $238 for all 4 with free shipping. Had them in 2 days. Now I do not have any codes, and it runs good. A 7/8" open end wrench worked good, no special tools are needed. Just passing this on for others in need of O2's.
