any leak is not good. time for a pressure and leak down test to find out what is leaking where.

I know alot of the DII's end up getting them at some point or another....I just want to rule out all options before I have to break down and replace the head gaskets which I am obviously fearful that may be the issue.

keep driving it. you are not getting any error codes right? just keep an eye on the oil and coolant levels.

I live in Canada and the colder it gets the more my DII smokes. On a day like today (-25 Celsius) you would think I was burning fir branches in my exhaust pipe. Once the temperature goes up the smoke goes down to the point where it isn't noticeable.
