Yes, please email me some pics, please!

I'm actually flying, but if it's something I'm interested in, maybe I can rent a car or something.

Also everyone- how bad would it be to get an '03 that may have the oil-pump issue? The worst case scenario is that the pump fails, right? Is there some kind of noisy alarm if the oil pressure drops below 15 or 20psi?

Are there any other reasons to avoid an '03? The only reason I ask, is there sure are a lot of '03s available... I guess that MAY be because they suck, or it may be because a lot of them sold that year...?

Thanks again, my off-roading brethren!

Pat

If you get a '03 and are lucky the oil light will flicker at idle. That is one way to know the pump is going south.
The other way is when the oil light comes on while driving. If you shift into neutral and shutthe engine down right away you can save it. But you will have the same problem in the future.
You may get lucky and not have any problems at all. Even a few '04's have had the oil pump issue so its not just the 2003's.
And no, there is no alarm when the oil pump goes. Just the oil light.
The gerneral consencous is to just stay away from the '03's.
