Default Won’t start - battery ok, starter ok, ignition switch?

I’ve got a 2003 D2 that just died while it was running - I was at a stop and it died and refused to start.

The battery is ok and the starter was replaced somewhat recently. It’s trying to start but it won’t catch. No clicking sounds. Is it the ignition switch? Quick fix? Other things to check?

Sure sounds like a Crank Position Sensor, see if it cranks once it cools down. An engine needs 3 things to run Air, Fuel, and Spark. If the CPS is INOP it will not have fuel or fire = no run situation.

Default Issue Resolved: Crankshaft Position Sensor (CPS) replaced

Thank you, I’m still learning things here. I was able to get the CPS (OEM Bosch part) for $45 and after installing, she’s alive again! Since the issue began a week or two ago, she would start here and there, but would die. I replaced the starter a little while ago, so she really fires up beautifully with a new CPS. Thanks again! Cheers
