Whats wrong with the 2010 at auction? You will have a headache getting the computers to work properly. The engine designs are very different, and since the computers control everything in the car, you will have sort of a frankenstein computer setup with some computers from one car and the other. You will need the dealership computer to modify settings and features. Might even want to call NASA up and ask for some advice . If you attempt this, all I can say is good luck. To my knowledge, it has never been done before.

What might be a good idea is to part it out. The engine, transmission, and electrical components are probably worth a fortune.

I'd definitely second that... the headlights themselves could pay for the car, LOL.

Right, it is possible. Anything is... Is it worth it? is really the question of whether or not to proceed. Someone I know successfully put a hummer H3 engine, transmission, and transfer case into a LR discovery. Had custom drive shafts made. Apparently they thought it was worth it .
