2005 L322 Immobiliser issues
Hiyas All
Interestingly, along with a duff battery that confused the issue, My own L322 Started doing this recently, Where the Key would turn and crank, but only the first time I got power on the Car, Ie Adding a jump pack, charging the battery etc. so I followed my own process of drilling a hole and squiting in some lubricant which instantly sorted that problem and then a few days later put a new battery on that solved that problem too, Happy days for now anyway ;-)

[QUOTE=rover235608;340102]If you have disconnected the battery for any time - even 10 minutes, when you reconnect it the air suspension inactive warning will come up. You have to turn wheel full lock to left, then right and back to centre to reset these things.
Other than getting car back to dealer, I would suggest that you try disconnecting negative lead from battery, wait ten minutes, reconnect and then try to start. It may not solve all your problems but it might get you in a position to drive back t the dealer at least.
Try checking battery condition as well as a weak/old battery where voltage is too low can cause similar issues I have read.
One last possibility is to remove Fuse 18 (Immobiliser), assuming it is in good condition wait ten minutes then put it back.

Funny Part to My issue that started in March 2020...
I just kept pulling the fuse, putting it back with needlenose I kept in the glove-box, and then I got lucky and it started WORKING AGAIN!
I didn't drill and lube like above, and I didn't change the battery. I'm guessing it was our ambient temp, I'm in Simi Valley, CA, and it's 95+ in the day and 55 ish at night. I'm happy it just works now!
110k miles, Rimini Red '06 HSE L322 - I'll be on to troubleshooting my next issue: 1500-2000 rpm oscillation ...
and yes, ATB and be safe!
