Default Axle question for a 97

I am starting to hear some noise from the front when I am almost full lock. I am guessing that it is the joint in the axle. I have replaced them on my D1 before and I know htese are different. Is there a way to grease them or is it a once they are shot they shot type of thing?

I amy start to take them apart tonight and see what I see but I am looking for some itmes that I may need to look out for.

Thanks in advance.

Dumb question, does your truck have swivel joints, if so you need to check both the fluid level as well as the front wheel bearings.
Can you better describe the noise?

They are not the swivel ***** they are a normal steering arm with the boot over the joint. The noise is more of a clicking noise like a CV joint going bad sounds, and I can feel a very faint grab as the wheel turns in a couple of spots. That is why I think it is the axle joint.
