Default engine oil drain plug 2006 rr hse

I can not find a replacement engine oil drain plug/seal local. Need to change oil, will it be ok to reuse the one I now have for one more time until I can order more ?
Thanks.

we change the entire plug. Its a jag block so a jag dealer can help you out. Or try a ford dealer and show it to them.

Default engine oil drain plug 2006 RR HSE

Thanks Rovin4Life. We live at lease 250 miles from a Jag/RR dealer and the one Ford place and the several parts stores don't have a replacement plug. I am trying to get an opinion
if it will be ok to reuse the 6 mt old current plug one more time until I can order more RR Parts.

just wait order the part online and dont overtighten the other one. Do that and you are royally screwed. I mean royally screwed.

Rovin4life, why is it not ok to reuse the plug? I reuse my plugs all the time. Is there some different design that they use on the Jag engine now that requires you to replace it each time?

Because the oring is with the plug, eventually it will fail and start to leak. With your vehicle you just replaced the copper oring.
