Default RRS SC seatbelt warning

Does anyone know how to disable the seatbelt warning chime on a 2012 Range Rover Sport Supercharged?

yeah its called put your seat belt on. The chimes can not be commanded off whatsoever. Put on your seat belt and where it correctly and have no issues. I very much dislike the idiots that don't want to wear seatbelts but demand other things. I especially hate the morons that put the seat belt on and sit over it so it looks like they have it on from behind.

Rovin4life,

The reason I requested the information is that when I'm driving at low speeds such as on my property, driveway, having the car washed, or just moving out of the garage, I many times won't have my seatbelt on and I'd like to disable the annoying chime. Having said that, I ALWAYS wear my seatbelt when I'm out on the road. You response is insulting and stupid because you fired off a reply without finding out all the information. Why do you "especially hate the morons that put the seat belt on and sit over it so it looks like they have it on from behind"? What business is it of yours? You would do well to just worry about yourself and not worry about others.

Now, if you actually have some useful information, I'd like to hear it. If not, keep your busybody opinions to yourself.

David

Safety Belt Warning Indicator

The belt minder function can be enabled and disabled using the driver safety belt switch. The instrument cluster changes the state of the belt minder function if, within 60 seconds of first turning the ignition switch to position II, the driver safety belt is fastened and unfastened nine times. Successful completion of the change is indicated by a single chime and the safety belt warning indicator flashing five times, at 2 Hz. The belt minder function can also be enabled and disabled using T4.
