2001 Discovery II - Head Gaskets or Slipped Sleeve possibly?
Update for you guys... I got it tested with the dye and it failed. There is a guy here in Mid TN named Reggie that just works on Land Rovers. I took the truck to him and he replaced the head gaskets, got heads machined, new plugs and wires.
Truck isn't over heating but it's running hotter than I want it to. I'm in the middle of a radiator flush and replacing the thermostat to see if that helps it run cooler.

For future reference, when bleeding the cooling system, jack the front of the truck up by about 10", or park the front wheels on ramps. Makes filling and bleeding the system 11ty billion times easier by making the bleed nipple the highest point in he cooling system.
And if you can use a scanner the temp can be seen more exactly - note in pix that two different trucks have two different temps and same reading on the stock gauge, it will show 50% from about 130 - 240F, you will want to be more precise. The 180F soft spring stat helps keep temps lower across the board.
I was told if you put a plastic glove over the mouth of the radiator overflow tank And it blows the glove up you have a slipped sleeve . Anyone else heard of this test? On. My 2001 it has already been tested and has exhaust gas in the coolant. With the glove test I was told I have a slipped sleeve I'm trying to decide weither to part it out or try having the heads machined Is there another test to find out if I have a slipped sleeve?
