Default ABS

The ABS dash light is on on my 90 Rover Classic. I can here the ABS pump cycle, and am pretty sure it works, though the ABS does not activate when needed. Any suggestions to what I should check first on this one without having to remove each wheel hub to check the sensors?

Cheers,

Is the pump running more then normal. A common problem with the early ABS was the accumulator failing and not storing power.

Default RE: ABS

My pump is not running more than normal from what I can tell. How do I check to see if the accumulater is functioning? Or is it likely that it is ready for replacement. I have 135k miles on this vehicle.

Thanks for your help.

Cheers,
Glenn
