Default No 2 freewheel = no sprag

So I'm assuming "no 2 freewheel" means no sprag clutch and does this mean a pressure test will gain no more knowledge? or can it be possible that sprag clutch is sticking, if thats even possible, and fluid/ filter change could resolve the problem?

In this case a fluid/filter change is not going to help much. Won't hurt anything to change it except your bank balance. You descriptions match results from several sources, maybe think about a used tranny, salvage yards sell them fairly cheap (like under $150). But you still need a place to work on it or pay a shop, who will of course not warranty the used tranny. Start saving up for it. DIY rebuild of ZF 22 tranny not a weekend project.

Default Sprag clutch

so mine does the 1st to drive thing. Sometime it will go starting in drive but will not offer over drive. There is a loud whining noise in d, 3, and 2. (Almost sounds like a pump) when you shift into 1 it goes away. Any thoughts? So my question could be to the others to any whining or pump noise?? Also did the filter change and fluid this weekend.. old fluid brown and foamy.. don’t know why that is either. 106k miles on 03 disco 2

You will need it rebuild ASAP, as it was not designed to pull the vehicle, only to work with the sprag to provide engine braking.
