Default Electrical issues

Hey guys,
I have a 2005 lr3 . I was changing the license plate bulbs to led 's today. When I turned the the lights on the whole driver's side was out. The brake, headlight, and turn signal all work, but the parking and daytime running lights on drivers side are now out. I checked the fuses and bulbs and everything looks fine....I disconnected battery and still nothing.....any suggestions?????

Perhaps you disturbed a ground point, or a fuse link (controls more things, but better to check with a meter. Here's a link to a source for free (but slow) download of the factory set of manuals, it does have electrical diagrams. I'm not on the home PC at the moment, I'll look when it get there later tonite and provide an update if I see anything.

See these 3 pages from the manual set - the thrid pages shows the plate light is also fed from the same spot as a few other Left Hand lights. The lot is fed from fuse 4P (10 amp) in the central junction box. Would impact lights front and rear if that fuse was blown. Rover calls them side lights and side marker lights. Side light would be also known as city light or daytime running light. If blown, and keeps blowing, perhaps LED is attached in reverse direction (it is a diode).

A good wiring diagram is a thing of beauty. BTW, people may not think about it, but LEDs last a whole lot longer. In my county, it is $85 ticket for a bulb out, even the tag light. Sign of economic times.
