Default Misfire

2004 Discovery 130k P0302 code and knock sensor code, I've replaced the plug and wire to that cylinder(old plug looked fine). I've cleared the code a few times after clearing the code I drive it around the block a few times and noticed it does not come back on until heavy acceleration. Is that a clue to anything?
My next step was going to be to replace the coil pack. Any other suggestions?

Have you replaced the knock sensor?

The coil pack is a PITA to change out and will need to take the upper intake manifold off to do it.

I guess the question is what is the cheaper easier fix for the process of elimination? Coil pack or knock sensor, I vote knock sensor.

Also, posting in the discovery 2 section will get more responses from people far more knowledgable than me.
