Check your fuel rail for a small 1/4" line off the fuel pressure regulator (if you know what that is...). That connects to the small port on the IAC. The large vacuum line is connected to a larger port on the plenum near the throttle plate. Next time you get a wild hair up the whazoo to take something apart take pictures with it together first.......... Why did you take the intake off? Not sure I understand what the reasoning is/was, you had a ticking noise right? So how did the intake harm you in any way to be abused like this?

Scouts I think he took off the plenum to get at the other rockers to clean em and then the intake cause the valley pan was leaking and do more cleaning , I did this too and then took it all apart again for head gaskets then all apart again for the rebuild lol

Yeah, but there's a point where the arc no longer travels upwards in the ambition column. Wondering what happened and how you got there is more like an alcoholic........ Lone Star anyone?

I can't believe you guys are not reading my posts! I only posted like 20 rants on here the other day without you responding to them! You guys act like you have frikkin jobs or something else to do other than babysit me!

Scout....A CLAMP I WAS SQUEEZING POPPED OFF AND DROPPED INTO THE INTAKE MANIFOLD!! My F*%ing worst nightmare was me having to remove the thing to get it out...it has pretty much been a nightmare since then....

I did label everything and then promptly let the vacuum line that connects to the regulator fall off on my parts table to the back of the wall...that I just found..

I do know what the pressure regulator is because I had just purchased one from Paul and installed it when all this happened..

And sadly no drinking is involved in this, though it is the first time in about a year and a half I have seriously thought about it...getting ready to start it up in an hour or so and probably start drinking again....

AND I did take pictures but in all fairness that connection is literally against the firewall! The Army has made you abrasive...
