Fuse 37 under hood, or Relay 19 (feeds fuse 37), or the dual pressure switch, which is in the ground side connected to the relay coil, and with the switch ground supplied by the HEVAC control unit. Not sure how you measured for power, but a volt meter with one lead on negative battery or frame ground can be touched to both sides of the fuse to verify volts there (eliminates relay 19). The dual pressure switch controls more than one thing. If refrigerant very low or compressor head pressure too high switch shuts things off to prevent damage.

Thanks - will check all and back to you - plenty of freon - thus not shutting off for that reason

If I am not mistaken there is a connector on the driverside and passenger sides that are white underneath the dashboard in the kickpanel that controls that function. Lots of time they get corroded up.
