if you have an impact then just heat the truck up and you can do the rest with a torch. Heck it takes five minutes to pull the intakes and fifteen to torch them out and install new ones. Trust me, torching is the easiest way.

While I have not done this yet, i will take photos and post. For guys re-doing head gaskets, are they time ahead to leave exhaust manifolds attached?

I only use an impact on these nuts. I never do them by hand.

For the head gaskets if its easier, its certainly ok to leave the manifolds attached. If you've already got the flanges loose it makes no sense to pull the manifold from the head. If you are going to get the heads worked make sure you take the manifolds off before you leave them at the machine shop. Some places like to charge extra for removing and reinstalling the manifolds.

Smile exhaust flange bolt that connects pipe to the manifold snapped for me

exhaust flange bolt that connects pipe to the manifold snapped for me. I was doing a transmission filter change and the bolt that secures the pipe to the exhaust manifold broke off. I think it's because I'm so strong lol. anyway should have used PB blaster. Should i drill it out and replace it or is there a way to spin it out. The stud is what broke but it's flush with the hole.

That's very true i'll try to spin out the stud with penetrating fluid and vice grips. If that doesnt work. I'll have to use the drill.
