2008 LR2 oil light at high speeds

LR2 Owners,
I originally changed my anti drain valve in 2016. Base on my post it was in April 2016.

Its been 5 years and I decided to check it Today.
My LR2 had been sitting for about 24 hours and I checked the dipstick with the engine cold and the oil level was VERY HIGH.....WAY ABOVE THE MAX.
So I ran the engine for 30 seconds and shut it down and checked again and the Oil level was 3/4 of the way between Min and MAX (closer to MAX)
When I changed the oil I filled it to MAX so the 1/4 got burned up (Note: 1/4 in this case is 1/4 of a quart) its been about 3000 miles so its not too bad.
But my Anti Drain Valve has failed for the second time!!!!!!
I was anticipating 10 years not five and a half.
The failure isn't severe enough to set the Oil Pressure Light.............I don't know what the light looks like I've never seen it.
I will check the Volvo because I replaced that Valve slightly less than 3 years ago.

Update
I checked the Volvo 3.2 (same engine as the LR2)
And after sitting for a few days the oil had drained back into the pan.
Apparently the Anti Drain Valve isn't that good. (the Valve on the Volvo isn't very old)
The take away................follow #FLYBD5's advice and start the engine if you really want to know if the level is correct.

One last update.
If you check the Engine oil level at the Gas Station (Which is what I was taught to do)
Then the Anti drain Valve works as expected and the Oil level measurement is correct.
Note my S80 has redesigned piston rings and those rings are prone to burning oil.
And my S80 does burn oil faster than my LR2.
If I change the oil every 6 months or 5,000 miles
Then the 2008 LR2 will be below the max by 0.3 quarts (out of 8 quarts about 4%)
And the 2010 S80 will be below the max by 0.6 quarts (out of 8 quarts about 8%)
I do know that the previous owner of my S80 used crappy oil.
Because the Brake Vacuum pump O-rings were leaking severely.
For my LR2 where I only used a good synthetic oil since new the Brake Vacuum pump O-rings are original.

When I run the car to fill the filter canister after an oil change, it takes close to ten seconds for the oil light to go out.
Normally it takes 2-3 seconds.
So that might be an easy indication, just note how long the oil light stays on anytime the car has been sitting for a while.

If you watch the video you will see that the light is on for about 3 seconds
But if you watch the Tach you will see that the light turns off about 1 second after the tach moves

PS I checked the dipstick and the oil had drained into the sump
