LR2 No crank
Could be anything. In my case one of the harness connectors was not all the way in after the blower was replaced and the alarm system was dead as a doorknob, if I remember correctly. But considering everything pretty much either starts, stops or goes through there, those connectors need to be all the way in and tight. If you are not sure, pull them out and put them back in.
So... Today I found out that I am able to give the starter solenoid power from the battery junction box and the starter cranks beautifully. When I press the start I have 12v across the starter relay small terminals in the junction box. I switched the A/C and Starter relays and I dont get a click from the start relay but the A/C relay does click (same when swapped back to original position). I reseated the passenger junction box connectors.

I would get one if there was one in town here. Why wouldnt the exact same relay have different results. I swapped the ac and start relays and nothing changed. The Starter relay clicks when in the ac socket and the ac relay doesnt click when it is in the starter socket? I am looking to see where the ground comes from to see where the circuit is completed now.

Opps... i meant to say... The AC relay when moved into the starter socket DOESNT click. The relay that came from the starter socket DOES click when in the AC socket. Starter does NOT engage.

Saga continues... So today I got the Rover back on the ground from the jackstands. Now being able to sit in it again I notice that even with the key FOB docked (it does recognise the key) the left alarm LED is flashing like the key isnt there but IT IS. The start button turns on the interior, NAV boots up, stereo works, windows and ect. Seems that the immobilizer is preventing this. From what I remember I did trip the alarm before in between getting home from driving it and discovery of the "No Crank" issue. How do I reset the alarm system.
