Default 06 LR3 fuel door stuck

The fuel filler door won't open. Feels like the spring or whatever inside is broken. I put 10 gals in this morning, everything seemed OK. I made a stop and when I got out I noticed the fuel door open, just thought I forgot to close it. I pushed it closed and it felt weird, then it wouldn't open. I've tried unlocking the doors in case that made a difference, but it didn't.

Is there a way to spring the door open from the inside? Or pry it open? What would a dealer do? I have enough gas in it to get to the closest dealer, but not enough to get home. I've seen several people on this and other boards have the problem but I've never seen a solution. Thanks for any help.

It is just plastic. I would imagine that you could pop it open if you can do so without scratching your paint. Then it will not latch, and you will need to replace the plastic bits in the latch.

Carefully pry it open, it is only plastic. And no it isn't tied into the door locks. Replace with this kit: Fuel Filler Flap Latch Repair Kit - Land Rover kits from Atlantic British

I did pry it open with a rubber spatula, that was much easier than I thought it would be. I'll order the parts mentioned above. Does it come with instructions? I couldn't see where there are screws or anything. Or do the parts just pop in and out? Thanks for your help.
