Default Catalytic Converter Part #?

Looking for a right/passenger side catalytic converter for my 2008 LR3 HSE. I keep finding two different part numbers, with different prices:

WCD500202: some indication this is for 2005-2006, but other sites show this as the part for 2008? Often appears cheaper.
WCD502470: some sites say LR3; 4.4L; RIGHT; FROM 8A457086 (my vin is 8A46)

Oddly, the driver's side is always WCD502480.

Which is the correct part number, or how would I figure that out? Did they really change the part or can I get the cheapest one I can find of either?

Also, I'm seeing gasket between the converter and the exhaust (#7), but is there one between the exhaust manifold and converter?

Ok, so I went ahead and ordered the WCD502470...and it's different than the one I have on their currently and shown in the parts diagram. Instead of the rear O2 sensor being after the converter, it's mid-way through. Everything I look up says it should fit a 2008, but why on earth is the O2 placement different? Should I even try to fit it?

Also, there is a sticker inside on the cat material. I'm assuming that just burns off?

Sticker on the inside of the cat?

Why is the O2 bung midway through the cat?

They changed the bung placement in 07'. You are good to go.

Do you mind sharing the cost and source for it?

I got it from LRdirect.com from the UK, the cost was a little under $1000 shipped with a the required gaskets and bolts.

And by all means, if the two cats that you have differ, tell us which has the easier to access/replace O2 sensor!

Sometimes, those things can be a PITA to get to.

As cheap as O2's are I would replace both on the bench, why not.

So just for anyone looking at this in the future, WCD502470 fit fine and was the correct part. *whew*
