Received new belt moulding and was wondering if anyone had insight on how to remove the LR044650 piece?

I can not pry it off of the door 🤬🤬🤬🤬

Thanks in advance.

You seem to be adamant.

I used grass trimmer twine/string and fed it down. There is no wetness inside on the carpets on the drivers side or passenger side. Drainage tubes are still in good order and connected at the bottom and not rotted through. It has sat through some serious rain since and it is not wet inside the cabin.

Appreciate your enthusiasm, but, @aljpro2000 has provided insight into why there is moisture in the door. Once I have replaced the part referred to I will report back.
