Has anyone used a Foxwell NT520 Pro to program an ignition key on an LR 3? Foxwell's spec sheet says that the NT520 is capable of programming my new key however, after reading through several Land Rover forums online, I have yet to find anyone who had successfully programmed their keys with a Foxwell Tool. The Foxwell tool is far less costly than the GAP IID tool which others have used for key programming.

 

Nope. Key programming doesn't work on a Foxwell, Hawkeye or iLand app even though they are advertised that it can be done on Land Rovers.
You'll need a Test Book or Nanocom or the GAP IID diagnostic tool for that function.
