Hi - Am about to flush with CLR and Water. Anyone know off hand what the size of the heater core pipe. is (in the engine bay) so I can mate up two hose to use? Have looked in the forums, but nothing on pipe size. Was hoping to get away with some garden hose, but think it's too small...

Well here's an update.

I managed to hook everything up and I CLR'd it. I let it stand for 4 hours, because I had read conflicting info about how harmful etc. Just to be safe I decided to drain. A couple of things noted:

1) I'm sure when I blew the CLR out I didn't get as much out as I put in.
2) When I did flush - both normal and reverse, it came out clear. I was disappointed to find that there was no "gunky" stuff.

So does this mean my heater core is clear and that I have an issue with some thing else? Blend Motor?
