lr3 led headlights / headlamps h7

The halogen high beams (yes they are all halogen, even in Xenon equipped trucks) in the LR3 are like turning on the sun. They do degrade as they age, maybe just swapping for new ones is in order?
That said, the high beam replacement is probably the best candidate for LEDs, given that they aren't on all the time and as said above one of their uses is flashing. Let me tell you, flashing someone with Xenons is just about useless given the warm up time.
Heat kills LEDs, so I'd be interested in how long they last before frying, heat sinks or no.

I've been running them all summer in 100+ deg weather, often times for hours on end driving the lonely roads and trails here in Utah. I've seen plenty of LEDs fail, and halogens degrade, and even destroyed HIDs from too much vibration on washboard. So far, so good with this set. I have another set on a test jig that has been running them through the ringer for almost a year off and mostly on. I've been very impressed so far.
