Default New to all this - Issues and Codes

Hi, new here and from Canada. Just picked up a 2005 LR3 ($3200 Canadian with about 280,000 km). It was a trade-in at a Chrysler dealer. Very clean black on black SE V8 5 seater but with the 3 flip down seats in the back which I prefer.

Runs and drives great. Will throw in a new H8 battery as it died a ferw times while in the lot and and do a hard reset. Here are the codes I pulled.

1. PCM - Powertrain control module---(2)
1.1 P0513-00 Incorrect immobiliser key. Intermittent <- One kety did not work so this is what that is from
1.2 P0576-16 Speed control input - circuit low. Intermittent <- Maybe battery?

2. TCM - Transmission control module---(1)
2.1 U0155-87 Lost communication with instrument cluster control module. Permanent <- Not sure on this one as not experiencing any issues here or even sure if I should be chasing down or could be related to short to ground below.

3. PBM - Parking brake control module---(1)
3.1 C1A43-00 Motor supply circuit Intermittent -> Works sometimes, EPB module good, brake shoes pretty crusty and jamming, will address this when warmer.

4. TCCM - Transfer case control module---(1)
4.1 P1807-00 Four-wheel drive high ratio - short circuit to ground. Permanent -> This is the one I want to adress first. I seen a few posts but looking for feedback or a post int he right direction to any spl;ice locations or wiring diagrams. I was goign to grab a terrain control panel from the junk yard and swap out just in case the dwitc before i oull out the multi-meter as it is winter here and have no garage to work in. It will not fo into 4-lo (and yes I am in nrutral with my foot on the brake).

5. VDM - Vehicle dynamics control module---(1)
5.1 U0424-68 Invalid data received from heating, ventilation and air conditioning control module. Intermittent <- Probably related to below

6. HVAC - Heating ventilation and air conditioning control module---(3)
6.1 B1A73-18 Left seat heater Permanent <- Will get to this eventually

6.2 B1B77-00 Front right air blend stepper actuator. Intermittent <- It works, do not plan on tearing apart the dash until it dies
6.3 B1B78-84 System pressure. Intermittent <- Assuming this si the Not sure if due to running air-conditioning in the cold but will adrewss when gets warmer. Have a set of HVAC gauages and will service when gets warmer

Any help appreciated

Step 1: Install new battery
Step 2: Clear all codes and see what returns

Item 4 might be your only pressing issue, seat heater when you can

I will second the above, this thread is useless without a new battery. Why? Well these and trucks are silly sensitive to voltages especially at startup. Get that done, clear codes again and lets see what comes up cause a few of those are just ghost codes that really are not an issue anyway - even I still get the mobilizer fault from time to time too with a good battery.

And I would avoid using the parking brake until you have time to really dig into it. There is a manual release you want to look into if you do not know. Or you cold be left with a tuck that will not move at all. The e-brake is nifty, but a pain to service and calibrate just right.

Took the advice and put in a new battery. Just seems to be these after driving for a while.

1. PCM - Powertrain control module---(1)
1.2 P0576-16 Speed control input - circuit low. Intermittent -> Cruise control does not work so will continue to investigate

3. PBM - Parking brake control module---(1)
3.1 C1A43-00 Motor supply circuit Intermittent -> This I know and will fix

4. TCCM - Transfer case control module---(1)
4.1 P1807-00 Four-wheel drive high ratio - short circuit to ground. Permanent -> Will check the 12+ supply the switch for a short. Any suggestions where to look if there is I am all ears.

Now on to the driveshaft hanger bearing and rear upper control arms.
