Following this thread. I have the same code and my mechanic smoke tested and switched O2 sensors and I ran BG44K. Still came back.

Not yet vetalbig. I should be able to get some testing done this weekend...As soon as I get some numbers I'll post back up. Sorry the cat didn't do it. Maybe the BG top end cleaning will do the trick??

I usually do a three part cleaning and then a software update.

fuel rail cleaner posted above, air intake cleaner that is administered with the same tool at 80 lbs with an atomizer tip just before the throttle body, and a can of 44k in the tank.

when doing the intake cleaner you need to rev the engine every 40 seconds or so to keep pushing the chemical through.

Nothing about this is easy. I can't find a shraeder valve anywhere on either of the fuel rails to connect to - to take the pressure. I've seen pictures on some where there is a shrader just in front of the cross over tube towards the front of the engine. I don't have one there. Is it possible that Rover stopped putting them on for a time?

Well...I know my answer after a little more digging. Only the 2005 had a shraeder on the rail. There are some engineering oddities within Land Rover that really boggle the mind...Now I need to figure out how to build a T and mount a shraeder to test it. Ludicrous.

Yeah, I disconnect the fuel line at the rear driver side of the rail and use an adapter that fits(it’s a ford connector).

I can order you one, I’m guessing less than $30.

Thanks abran. As soon as I wrote that post - I started digging around and ordered one (should work I believe) but I appreciate your offer. I may still take you up on it. I honestly don't think it's a fuel pressure issue though because the trucks starts fine and runs great, without any hesitation. Maybe the whole intake/injector cleaning is the key...I'm hoping that vetalbig has some good news soon.

Ran 2 cans of injector cleaner. Reset code and it came right back. Checked fuel trims they are still higher on bank 1 than 2. LTFT is always 3% higher on bank 1. Something is going on somewhere.
Called local dealer they said $170 to diagnose the problem. Hmmm
