Finally found the time between the heatwave and the blast of wet weather to fit my steel ZF pan kit and replace the valve body seals. The TDV6 versions have much better access underneath than the petrol versions from what ive seen.
That was yesterday and today did a coffee run to 711 to get the trans up to temp then topped it off 700mls.
Replaced my shifter and loom due to the corrosion in the plug that frid the shifter PCB and gave some transmission faults, while at the wreckers i got a passenger side cup holder and an EAS reservoir that i mounted on the driver side in the same location as the factory one.
Welded a bracket for one end so i could use existing chassis holes, tank sits higher than the chassis which is what i was aiming for.
Removed the tow hitch foam and bracket and made some brackets to mount a TJM compressor in its place, tight fit but still space around it.
Started out by just wanting to change diff and tc fluids, ended up doing air compressor components and a new driveshaft. Glad I crawled under to find this one.
