You will enjoy Driving the LR3, and it sounds like you enjoy working on them too.

You should probably replace the front breather. They make a replacement one or you can just cut the top off it and put a fuel filter on the end of it.

The one that comes with it plugs up (its way too small) then back pressure builds up and will either cause seal leaks or can blow out the plastic tube making a huge mess. Its a 4 minute job.

Differential breather cap

Also the consensus seems to be to fill the rear and front differential to the bottom of the fill plugs and not by the directions which calls for less.

Having Curt Class III trailer hitch installed. Four bolts into the frame is much better than one tiny piece of metal in a slot.

Ordered used rear lower tailgate to replace the one slammed by my boat when the LR hitch with the tiny piece of metal in a slot disengaged itself from the rest of the vehicle, causing my boat to slam into the LR.

Wow, I always wondered if that happened to anyone. I have that LR3 hitch and pull boats. I see that little round metal rod that somehow holds it in place. And it seemed that it could let go. And I guess it can. I think they should have made it longer so you could put a pin in it to prevent that from happening.

Mine is stuck on, I can't get it off.

I found the problem with my remote locking. simple. I squirted CRC in and around the internal door lock lever. End of problem, both remotes work perfectly
