Default That looks nice

ArmyRover that looks really nice let us know how she rides with the new springs. I do love that front bumper I have asked before but can’t remember which one it is, is it Tactical Rover or Proud Rhino? Also where did you get your Grill from.

the grill was a Christmas present from my dad but he said he found it on ebay. Good eye most folks miss that it's not stock.

Default Put the old fridge in the new rover

So after rethinking my use and not seeing a need to use the fridge AND one of the third row seats, I decided to put a piece of plywood down on the cargo area and bolt the fridge slider on to it using wood nuts and see how easy it would be to reconfigure for different needs. I had a shipping accident with the recessed "D" ring deck tie downs so I guess that will be a project for next week. But for now

I started with a 4x8 sheet of white Oak Plywood and cut it into a 4x4 piece. Good this the rover had a full length Frontrunner roof rack, other than reaching up, bringing home a 4x8 sheet of plywood was an easy tack.

So, I laid out the Land Rover Cargo area rubber mat and despite my lack of artistic ability, I managed to trace the outline of the mat

Once the basic outline is cut and sanded, I counter sunk the opening for the Land Rover tie down rings

Close up of my poor craftsman's skills., But in the end, the did fit and bolt up in place

Here it is in place held down by the Original tie downs (I used 4 M8x1.25 x6 0mm bolts in place of the hex head one on there originally)

Here it is configured for normal use, rubber mat and all. Look almost like it was before OI started.

Fridge slide installed with M8 x 1.25 x 30mm bolts into wood nuts on the bottom side of the board.

Fridge intalled!

Fridge deployed ready to give up all of that goodness that was bottles up inside

Nicely done!

I considered doing something similar but I have the under floor storage since I don’t have the 3rd row that I would hate to loose.

I plan to remove the third row seats in the future and cut this board in half and hinge it in the front and put in lockable latches by the tail gate for under floor storage for long flat things that may or may not be in the shape of a firearm.
