Had some made in the USA recovery gear show up while I was in Texas.

Factor55 this stuff is so nice. New fairlead and an Ultra-hook.

Guess it is a winch weekend

You know I probably should have started a build thread on this thing

Default Lift kit and mud tires

New STT pros

My stock baby before the new wheels. It already has the air to coils conversion kit.

These are the wheels that I ordered. I love the gold/bronze color that I decided to go with instead of the black.

My tires with blue tint on whitewall and all ready to be installed.
Hello everyone! I’m new here and want to say I feel very fortunate to have found this forum. I have a 2006 LR3 that I’ve owned since last year. I’m ready to upgrade the suspension and wheels/tires and have ordered everything. I already received my tires, Cooper Discoverer STT pro’s 275/65/18. I also ordered the wheels, ATX 201 bronze 18x9 that are due to arrive on Tuesday. Oh and I’ve just ordered the OME heavy duty lift kit tonight.

Just finished installing the OME HD springs as well. Its not horrible to do, but definitely a bit more difficult than a old solid axle truck.

Doing a bit of work on the 07 today. Freshening up the wheels.

primed

and laying down the black

Apparently someone was annoyed her rims didn't look nice... Lol

Took off the broken plastic front bumper cover the previous owner broke. I had ordered another cover but I had to bent the metal bumper back on the r/h side and the studded rubber bushing mount was seized so could not get it back in to finish. Gonna have to find one tomorrow.

Also, Napa misplaced the fv308 I ordered a week ago so again, wait till tomorrow.

Got the factor55 installed and the winch line installed and the wiring almost done. I have to trim up the positive and negative cables they are just two long.

And the fairlead

Easy stuff done it was time to dig in

best way to hold a couple hundred pounds of bumper and winch.

buttoned back up

I will be damned I trimmed and hooked up the power to the winch and it doesn't work of course....

Had a trailing link that was going out so a new one was in order. Got it installed and dropping the LR3 off tomorrow for a fresh alignment.

This weekend hopefully I will sort out the winch and replace a broken rear sway bar link

Tested out the Firestone “LIfetime” Alignment warranty today. I am happy to report no fuss no muss and most importantly they lined it all back up for free.

Didn’t realize how much the new springs had moved things on the alignment front. Definitely recommend a fresh alignment after a lift install
