my windshield cracked the other day. i turned my heated windshield on backed out of my driveway and it cracked by the "A" pillar. i have two questions. will this be covered under warranty ? is there an after market one available?

 

I would think that you would contact the dealer if not warrante then call your insurance.
Make for sure it gets replaced with another heated winshield.

 

I would think about having the heater contacts checked to make sure there is not a short that might cause a repeat. That would also make it a warranty issue. Good luck.

 

call insurance. unless they find a burnt connection its your insurance about to pay.

and no no aftermarket on heated windshields. Only land rover.
