My 2017 Discovery just had the transmission replaced (it was one of the leaking transmissions) and I just got a call from the dealer saying that Land Rover has put out a new bulletin for the vehicles with replaced transmissions - 8 engine bolts need to be replaced ASAP. So any of you who have had your transmissions replaced, you might check in with your dealership to get this done!

I was called shortly after the replacement of the Transmission for bolts replacement. But don't recall that they were from the engine. Most likely from the drivetrain area.

You are probably right! I got my car back 2 weeks ago with the new transmission. Too bad they didn’t (know to) replace the bolts at that time. It’s a 3 hour each way drive to the dealership once again.
I'm glad I was made aware of this thread. After coming back from the shop where they replaced the transmission oil pan, the leakage has actually increased => notified my service advisor and hope they'll do things right now. This is what dripped onto the floor in the span of 8 hours, 2 days after coming back from service:

After 12 days at the shop, we finally have the D5 back. Based on previous reports, I was expected that the dealer would swap the transmission. It seems however that they have found a cheaper solution - putty:
JB weld is the new transmission fix? I wonder if that's the method that ZF figured out when they had to re-work all these returned transmission from last year.
Interesting method to reduce the warranty cost because it took almost two weeks to get a replacement transmission and the dealer charged JLR by the hour while the truck is on the lift for two weeks.
