I pick up a new (to me) 2004 Discovery Westminster on the 26th! Java black with charcoal leather. Rhino rack on top, Harmon Kardon, cold weather pkg, locking diff. Pristine condition from 2nd owner. Full service records, perfectly maintained. 104k highway miles. Only time she put it in low was for snow or the occasional "drive in some dirt to feel cool." Looks smells runs around

Welcome. Please take advantage of the free download of the factory set of manuals, called the RAVE, it includes shop, electrical, owner's, etc. You'll want to check the tech area for the 60K service list. Inspect the front drive shaft at once to determine if it has multiple grease fittings and has been greased - or it can snap and spear a big hole in the transmission.
