hello, I just bought a 2000 DII, and just wanted to say thanks for all the helpfull post all of you have put up.
I have been looking at discovery's for awhile now and followed the "what to look for when buying a discovery" thead.
I found a clean 2000 with 185k on it, the miles kinda scared me but after talking with the owner I found that the owner also followed these forums and took good care of it, he had the front drive shaft done with alot of other stuff suggested in that what to look for thread, and allways changed the fluids as suggested

I've only had it a few days and its running great I'm real happy with it, no buyers regrets, and thanks agian for all the helpfull info everyone has put up

Welcome. Consider an Ultra Gauge to keep eyeball on temps, the factory gauge is 50% from 130 to 230 F.
