Well good news and bad news. I checked OBD 6&14 with the back left tire connector disconnected and still got a 41. I then unplugged C0867 and checked the ODB, still 41. Went back and checked the left wheel con connector male pins 5&6 and got No change(meter didn’t move). I have converted my trucks to coil spring suspension and I have a reflash unit wired in under the dash right next to the connector C0867. I unplugged that connector (the reflash unit) with the C0867 unplugged and the rear left unplugged and rechecked OBD 6&14. I got a 128. My assumption is maybe the reflash unit went bad. So I disconnected the yellow/brwn, and yellow/blk wires from the reflash unit and reconnected them back to C0687 and plugged everything back in (all connectors) and got a 61 on OBD 6&14. I also check 3&11 on the OBD and got a 61. My brain says that’s good. (I think). Now the bad news. Still won’t crank and I still have the temp guage pegged and the big “F” on the transmission selector. Still have transmission, and park brake faults. I scanned with my GAP tool and got multiple faults but was able to clear everything but the following. I understand the suspension and terrain response since I have the reflash unhooked.
Kind of one step forward and one and a half steps back. Thanks again for the help. It is starting to get exciting.

YES! The reflash unit has a short from one side of the CAN to the other. We found the CAN bus issue! Now let's get the rest fixed. The codes in that list I worry about are the lack of communication with the PCM. We checked before and the GAP had no coms with it either, but the CAN was bad. Now that the CAN is good, try to communicate with it with the GAP again and see what happens. If you can't let's start with the simple stuff, in the engine compartment fuse box check fuses 27 a 15 amp, fuse 13 a 5 amp and in the fuse box behind the glove check fuse 25 a 5 amp. If all of those fuses are good lets check the 2 ground studs that are behind the passenger side wheel well liner. If all that checks as good then we will check for the presence of power and ground at the actual pins on the PCM
My friend!!!! We have a running LR3!!!! I checked the GAP and still no coms. I went to the fuse box under the hood and found fuse 13 missing. I had a few gone. Looks like the Indy mechanic took some out to test and I never rechecked it once I got it home. Replaced 13 and BROTHER IT RUNS!!! I couldn’t be more excited and all THANKS goes to you! You my friend are a genius!!! You taught me a ton. I still have a few issues. One being the reflash unit I need to replace to get the suspension faults to go away, 2. My front main engine fan is not turning. Just clicks and looks like it wants to turn. I’m guess fan clutch from sitting so long. 3 putting this thing all back together. There is a lot torn apart and wires that need secured. Well I will let you know when it’s back on the road. So I will be in touch. Thanks again Hugh!!
That is fantastic! Nothing like hearing a truck that has stumped you for a bit turn over and start! I'm happy I could help and thank you for the compliment, but like I said your tenacity, willingness to try, and attention to detail are what got your truck fixed. Not many people would pull it out of a shop because some random guy on a forum gave them some advice lol. Get in touch with the company for the reflash unit, get a new fan in there, button her up and DRIVE!!!
Here she is. Back on the road. Been on the road for a couple weeks but got busy on other things. Hugh166, I cannot thank you enough. If you’re ever running through Indiana let me know and maybe we can meet up. Definitely owe you a steak dinner or something. Thanks again.
