Hello gents.

Been a while since I've posted... purchased a one owner 2006 L320 Supercharged a few months back.

Replaced all 4 Airbags, and all four swaybar bushings with the Active Stabilization... was a pain, but the car has driven amazing since. New tires and quite a bit more.

Went on a three week vacation and jumped in the car w the misses for a coastal drive.. I got a transmission fault warning and then heard grinding.

Got home and got under the truck this morning after doing some research and running codes.

I got P0741 from the transmission control module:
"Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Performance Stuck / Off"

Did some research and I may have some bad solenoids.... not a fun job but easy enough.

Then I wondered what the noise was. I turned the car on and immediately heard a noise, put it in drive and reverse while holding the brake and the noise was extremely evident.
