Default Pivi Pro diamond software issues

Hello I've just taken delivery on my new my24 velar p400e dynamic se. And I seem to have an issue with the software, when I check under the connectivity settings I can't see the option for WiFi hotspot, so as such I can't connect to the car via WiFi.
the new embedded sim card seems OK as I can see all relevant details and it seems to be connecting to the network ok, the cars hotspot name is visible in the list of available WiFi networks to connect to but its greyed out and unavailable to select from the menu.
I can see the car from my phone but I can't connect as the password is unknown because the menu is not showing the hotspot option, has anyone else experienced this issue.

Hello, I have exactly the same issue in my new MY24 Range Rover Sport P550e, could you please let me know how did you solve it?

hello it turns out the problem was human error as I forgot to select the WiFi package from the options list when ordering the car. It seems that as the new models have inbuilt Sim cards they are only set up for using the in car apps, navigation etc, if as in previous models you want to use the WiFi hotspot you need to select the additional option on ordering.
i contacted JLR directly and asked if i could purchase the WiFi package etc but was told its only available as part of the factory build and not after market. I obtained a tiny mobile router from EE and used the SIM card from my old car in that, it sits discreetly and plugs in within the cubby hole under the touchscreen and it appears as an available network on the cars set up menu.
I think it's a disgrace that the WiFi option can't be purchased after delivery as I suspect its only a simple software upload to enable the feature, I hope this helps.

Thanks for your answer, unfortunately I did the same mistake, due to I had a MY2020 Range Rover before and the WIFI option was included as a series option, I didnt know that now in new models the WIFI option requires to be selected/purchased as an extra option. The option is only 330 EUR in the configuration, so I believe this should not be a big deal for them (as you mentioned it , this should be a software activation issue with no extra hardware, as the WIFI is already broadcasting the signal due to it appears in the WIFI list of available networks, and all the other Apps like Alexa already use the Online Data Plan) so all required hardware is in place. Let´s see what they will say to me, but I believe it will be the same answer as you. Thanks in advance.
