Just finished up my grille. Not finished off the way I want it. Need to find some black hardware to secure it the way I want. Just used zip ties for now and 3M'd the LR emblem. Also replaced all amber markers and high beams. Installed amber high beams just to see what they look like. Prob will replace with the white. Waiting on lows to come in.

I finally worked on my cooling system.
- Flushed the whole system and heater coil 4x until clear
- Hayden Automotive #2781 Premium Fan Clutch and the Dorman #620-112 Radiator Fan Assembly - $60
- aluminum coolant hose T connector from Canada - $85
- replaced upper 3 radiator hoses #PCH000460 - $30
- 180 degree soft spring thermosat - $35
- 2 gallons of Zerex G-05 coolant - $40
- new expansion bottle cap - $10
- 2 hours of bleeding the coolant system to perfection.

It's been 2 days and my temps are way lower than before. My Disco used to sit idling at 221 degrees now it's sitting at 190-192 degrees.

Cruising around Atlanta now at 50 MPH the temps average around 186 to 188 degrees.

Should I have done the thermostat mod? It would have been cheaper but I'm very pleased with the results so far.

Default rust control and waterproof

...well I could have done this in one day if I got up really early and went to bed really late...and didnt drink a lot.

so i "grinded" the rust off. I epoxied the crushed aluminum cans in. i filled it with bondo and i painted it with special rust paint.

dont know about rust inside the massive hole or any bad reactions between steel and aluminium but i'll get some years out of this for sure.

gonna deal with that roof paint soon. gonna see if there are other leak spots too. tired of that wet rig sht.

Nice! I live in Atlanta too. What program/equipment are you using to get that data?

Looks great!!!

I think you're fine for that. True testiment is inner city driving or trail driving. You want to be 200-210 for those things.

When you flushed, did you just disconnect lower hose at thermo and push water through the top hose?

I'm using the Ultragauge Blue OBDII adapter and their App on my iPhone 6S+. I like it because you can modify what you want to specifically monitor on your Disco.

Thanks zoltan!
I first left all the hoses connected and but then I disconnected every hose possible to include the both drain plugs from the LH & RH side of the engine to clean out every internal nook and cranny of the engine. Time consuming but well worth it for the results.
