Default Stuck in Neutral

So ive got an 05 RR and it is stuck in neutral. On the dash it says transfer box neutral and is in low range. It won't go into high range and nothing happens when I slide it thru the gears. I want to be certain befor I work on it. I was thinking it is te transfer case shift motor and possibly the h/l range motor. I've already made sure fuse 37 is out.

Anyone know what it could be?

I think your idea about shift motor or switch that is part of it is spot on.

did you get the recall front diff done, and its possible the front axles slipped out and caused the issue as well.

I wouldn't bother until you get the vehicle diagnosed.

transfer neutral can be anything.

Wait did you drive the vehicle from the auction or tow it? If you towed it, they may have installed the fuse.
