Blake flush completed a little later than ideal. 23,500 miles on the clock. 21,000 is what's recommended.
The fluid was perfect looking. No discernible discoloration.
I've always have been of the school that as long as the brake fluid is clean and not discolored, a two-year change interval is appropriate. Not sure why JLR includes a milage interval.
Since this thread is about performing these scheduled services, and is specifically about completing these services by the DIYer, how does one record/verify the work performed for future warranty issues should they arise? If one were to bring a vehicle in for warranty work, and there were no records of these oil changes, brake flushes, filter swaps, would the dealership balk at covering the work if there were no way to prove you kept up with the scheduled maintenance. Are just presenting receipts for the parts sufficient? How do the other forum members deal with DIY work and record keeping?
In my warranty period of three years, I only have to do my 24 months first service including brake oil flush.( 16000 mls now)
Did do an DIY oil service with original oil at 10000 mls. Did not reset the service interval.
So after this first service my dealer has to reply on any warranty issue till 36 months.
Oh, wait, I go to order and it says "without ionizer".
They are saying it's correct based on the VIN, now what, do I have to pull the old one out to check?
I couldn't see a part number on the filter itself when I removed mine. It's a 5 minute task either way. The part number I listed is the more expensive filter and is the one I needed as I have the air ionizer (whatever that does). Fitment info by VIN on their site is a bit hit and miss. Nothing fits MY22 apparently

That was actually talking to an LR dealer's parts department rather than the vin lookup on that site. I would be unshocked if LR has it wrong because I definitely have an ionizer. I can turn it on and off in Pivi.
Is it possible that it's not a function of the filter? Probably but why does that filter say "without ionizer"?

Yes. Same here. Toggles on and off in Pivi and I notice nothing. The air filter certainly looks just like any old bog-standard filter. No fancy ionic doohickies.
The ionizer is something else. Some electrical thing. The only thing I could think of is that the filter differs in terms of its MERV rating perhaps. Far above my pay-grade. I'm just the service grease monkey so installed the one indicated for the ionizer.
I guess it's a combination of things. Receipts and a dated log of what you did and when. Pictures and such help date things you did or might do. For sure, it's not a zero risk situation but then that's life. I don't entirely trust my dealership to do things correctly so try to do as much simple stuff as I can myself. I hate wasting time at a dealer and rather enjoy doing these little tasks. Oil changes, filters, brake flushes are within my limited skill set. I stick to OEM parts/fluids for the most part. The oil from LiquiMoly being the only non-OEM item thus far.
Gave up and went to my local dealer. LR133345 cabin filter for vehicles "without ionizer" is " the only one they ever stock". The one listed for ionizers is "for another market".
Fwiw, the code on the side is FVJ2A which is also on the sticker.
Pleasantly surprised at their prices.

My dealer said the cabin filter I wanted was a special order item that had to be shipped in from somewhere else. (Probably the same place I bought it from). It had a correspondingly special dealership price. Pass.
A filter is a filter I guess. No idea which is the right one now. My homework told me I used the right one but maybe not. I'd be interested to see if it's a match between your new and old.
